The Practical Nursing course at SCVC will prepare nurses of the future to meet the challenges in health and healthcare. A variety of classroom experience such as anatomy nutrition, medical surgical nursing and community health will strengthen the decision making skills and critical thinking of students. Also, students will be provided clinical (hands-on) experiences in hospitals, counts health departments, schools, doctor's offices, mental health facilities, and much more. Students will graduate with a diploma in practical nursing and will qualify to sit for the NCLEX-PN examination.
