Cosmetology is a course training students in the scientific theory and manipulative skills required to be an expert in his field. Shampooing, permanent waving, hair cutting, styling, coloring, and personality development are all included in this course of study. After completion of the course and upon recommendation of the instructor, students may take an examination given by the Virginia Board of Cosmetology.
