Hello, My name is Jeff. One interest that I have is exploring and documenting old
Forest Service fire towers. I believe that these towers along with the dedicated men
and women who served in them are part of our history, and when they are gone, are
gone for good. This is not a fancy page, but simple, as I would rather be in the field
exploring my next firetower and taking pictures, or researching its history. If you are
wondering how I get around on these adventures, I have a 2008 Kawasaki KLR650
Dual Sport (street/trail) bike that I have put quite a few miles on. Also, I use my feet
quite a lot as a lot of the towers must be hiked to due to laws and Forest Service
regulations. So, I hope you enjoy the site, if you have any recommedations for the
