married Nancy Manning, daughter of William B. and Elizabeth Manning. The name
is sometimes spelled Manon. Nancy was borned Dec. 6, 1842. He brother was Andrew.
He and hs wife Marth bought the Manning place from the heirs in 1898. Their
son was James Peyton Manning. James' son Charlie still lives on the manning
farm.
Nancy died May 2, 1879 and is buried in the manning cemetery . After her
death William remarried Lucy Brooks in 1882. No children in the second marriage.
William died Jan. 9, 1906.
Wiliam is buried at Mt. Hop Chruch mear Rose Hill, VA

in VA. She died on May 2 1879 in VA. She was buried in Manning Cemetery. Nancy
is buried in the Manning Cemetary Hancock Co., TN. Children were:
