Flora Jane CLARKSON(16) was born on
Sep 15 1837.108. Henry CLARKSON
(16) was born between 1813 and 1815.
He died in Aug 1838. Very little is known about Henry. He must have been the
male, 15 to 20, in the houswhole of Sarah Clarkson in the 1830 census. But was
not listed on te 1833 tax list for Claiborne Co. TN. which helps with the date
of his birth.
He was not listed inthe "Heirs at Law" estate settlement for 1834,
but neither was Mary "Polly" Clarkston Welch , who was older thatn
Henry,.
Dec. 26, 1836 he purchased 50 acres from, John Plank. It was located on the
north side of the Powells River near Lee County VA ine. He died some time in
Aug. 1836. After Henry died Martha "Patsy" Married William Clarkson,
her nephew by marriege. Without the pension records of James Clarkston which
contain and application fot the restoration to the roll. Henry's parantage maynever
have been know.
