We are the fiends. We know what evils lurk in this world. We know this because we are among them. You are not wicked as you claim to be. Come, and we shall show you what it is to truly be one of the damned. Our legacy stems from Mekhet, our founder. He alone among the first childer had a special gift, for he was of the Awakened in life. His magical power still flows through our blood. We have wielded great power and the right to rule. Many have tried to dispute this right, but none may take it from us for the land itself bestows it upon us. Our true strength is that of the great Carpathian Peaks; they have been here since the beginning of time, and will stand until its end, and thus so shall we. There is a special power that we wield and, that is our Vicissitude discipline. Mekhet discovered this power, and it has been ours since. He originally commanded the dominate discipline, but while traveling the Umbra he battled an amorphous spirit. When he drained the essence of the spirit he gained the power and idea for Vicissitude. And thus he developed it and passed it on to his progeny.
