We are the most respectable of our kind, wealth and power become our life and our life becomes the damned souls we feed on. No other clan so intent on respectability, and no other so cruel at heart. Some call it a curse, some call it gift. I see it as chance to find out all about the foolish mortals that stand under me hoping they could be in my shoes. Not only does wealth give us power, but magic has become a strong ally. The power to reach into a persons soul and tear it apart from the very essence it so richly feeds, truly is a power of a god.Entering the family is not as simple as one might think. We may only give our gift to those of the "mortal" family Giovanni. In doing this, it keeps the family trusting. Trust is the key to the Giovanni family.I am one of the few left in the Giovanni family. My arts and skills are all I have to fall back on, and my family and friends are my straight. I search for the answers to my gift everyday. For the the last two hundred years my search has brought me much. I have found a home in a small town in Virginia, and am very content about my surroundings. The people are strange and the views and myths about us are few and far between. I am confident that the people of this time don't realize the power that the undead hold.
I wonder out regularly, to feed or just to get the feeling of this strange time, hoping that I will find another of my kind soon. I have had the feeling that a voice or presence is trying to reach me but have had no luck in locating this strange
